Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Vancouver Best Car Rental (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our services and website (https://vancouverbestcarrental.com/). By using our services or booking a vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Eligibility

• Renters must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• An additional fee may apply for renters under the age of 25.
• A valid credit or debit card is required for booking and payment.

2. Booking and Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability.
• Full payment, including a $30 daily insurance fee, must be made at the time of booking.
• A refundable security deposit is required before vehicle pickup.
• We accept major credit and debit cards; cash payments are not permitted.

3. Rental Period

• Rental days are calculated in 24-hour increments from the time of vehicle pickup.
• Any return made beyond the 24-hour period (e.g., the 25th hour) will incur an additional day’s rental charge.
• Early returns are not eligible for refunds.

4. Vehicle Delivery and Return

• Vehicles can only be picked up and returned at our designated office.
• Renters are responsible for inspecting the vehicle at the time of pickup and reporting any existing damage.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level.

5. Use of Vehicle

• The vehicle may only be driven by the renter or additional drivers listed in the rental agreement.
• The vehicle must not be used for:
  • Illegal activities or unauthorized transportation of goods.
  • Racing, towing, or off-road driving.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Smoking and pets are not permitted inside the vehicle.

6. Insurance and Liability

• A $30 daily insurance fee is mandatory and covers basic damage and liability.
• Renters are responsible for any damage not covered by insurance, including negligence or improper use.
• In the event of an accident, renters must report the incident to us immediately and provide a police report.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one day’s rental charge.
• No-shows or cancellations after the pickup time are non-refundable.

8. Late Returns

• Vehicles returned after the agreed rental period will incur an additional day’s rental charge.
• Renters must notify us in advance if an extension is required.

9. Fuel Policy

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at pickup.
• Refueling charges, including service fees, will apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

10. Maintenance and Repairs

• Renters are responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good condition during the rental period.
• Any repairs or modifications to the vehicle are prohibited unless authorized by us.

11. Privacy Policy

• Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

12. Limitation of Liability

• Vancouver Best Car Rental is not liable for:
  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle.
  • Delays, cancellations, or issues beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic).
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

14. Amendments

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the changes.
